Admissions Open 2026: Courses, Eligibility & Fees

ANGRAU was founded in 1964 under the APAU Act 1963 and later renamed in honor of Acharya N.G. Ranga. It is approved by UGC and ICAR and offers 4 UG, 22 PG, and 16 Ph.D. programs in agriculture, horticulture, home science, and allied disciplines. Admissions to UG programs are conducted through AP EAPCET (Engineering, Agriculture, and Pharmacy Common Entrance Test), while PG and Ph.D. admissions are based on ICAR entrance exams and merit lists. Eligibility requires 10+2 with science subjects for UG and relevant bachelor’s degrees for PG. The admission process is online, with counseling and seat allotment managed by the university. Fees are affordable compared to private agricultural colleges, making education accessible to rural students.
