NEET-UG 2026 Registration Begins: Check Dates, Fees, Documents & How to Apply

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released the notification for NEET-UG 2026, India’s largest medical entrance exam for MBBS, BDS, AYUSH, and other undergraduate medical courses. The registration process has now begun on the official portal neet.nta.nic.in.

NEET-UG 2026 Key Dates

  • Registration Start Date: February 6, 2026
  • Last Date to Apply: March 16, 2026 (expected)
  • Application Correction Window: March 20 – March 25, 2026
  • Admit Card Release: April 30, 2026
  • Exam Date: May 10, 2026
  • Result Declaration: June 14, 2026

Application Fees

  • General category: ₹1,700
  • OBC/EWS: ₹1,600
  • SC/ST/PwD: ₹1,000
  • Foreign candidates: ₹9,500
Fees must be paid online via debit/credit card, net banking, or UPI.

How to Fill NEET-UG 2026 Application Form

Visit the official website: neet.nta.nic.in

  • Click on “New Registration” and enter personal details.
  • Fill academic qualifications and exam centre preferences.
  • Upload scanned documents (photo, signature, certificates).
  • Pay the application fee online.
  • Download and print the confirmation page for future reference.

Exam Pattern & Eligibility

  • Mode: Offline (pen-and-paper)
  • Duration: 3 hours 20 minutes
  • Subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany + Zoology)
  • Questions: 200 MCQs (180 to be attempted)

Eligibility:

  • Must have completed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology.
  • Minimum age: 17 years as of December 31, 2026.No upper age limit.
