Important Details

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the NEET UG 2026 exam schedule. The medical entrance test will be held on May 3, 2026, across India. Candidates must complete online registration within the given deadline. This year, Aadhaar verification and live photo upload have been made compulsory to strengthen the application process.

Eligibility & Fees

• Candidates must have passed or be appearing in Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology.
• Minimum age: 17 years as of December 31, 2026.

• General: ₹1700
• OBC/EWS: ₹1600
• SC/ST/PwD: ₹1000

Documents Required

• Aadhaar card for eKYC.
• Recent passport-size photograph (live photo upload during registration).

Step-by-Step Registration Process

• Visit the official NTA NEET portal: neet.nta.nic.in.
• Click on “New Registration” and enter personal details.

• Upload scanned documents (photo, signature, certificates).
• Pay the application fee online.

Exam Day Guidelines

• Carry printed admit card and original photo ID.
• Reach the exam centre at least 90 minutes before reporting time.
• Follow dress code: light clothes without pockets, no jewelry, no shoes (only slippers/sandals allowed).
• Carry only permitted items: admit card, ID, passport-size photo, transparent water bottle.
