Central Sanskrit University (CSU), New Delhi, established in 1970, is a government university dedicated to the promotion and preservation of Sanskrit language and literature. Located in Janakpuri Institutional Area, the university is recognized under UGC Sections 2(f) & 12(B) and functions as a central university under the Ministry of Education, Government of India.
