Children’s University, established in 2009, is a state public university located at Subhash Chandra Bose Shikshan Sankul, Sector-20, Gandhinagar, Gujarat. Recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC), it was founded by the Government of Gujarat with the unique vision of promoting holistic development of children through education, research, and training. It is the only university in India dedicated exclusively to the study of childhood, child development, and child-centered education.
The university offers undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, certificate, and doctoral programs in disciplines such as education, psychology, child development, social work, and related fields. Its Gandhinagar campus is equipped with classrooms, libraries, research centers, training facilities, and extension programs, creating a specialized environment for academic and applied learning.
