Admissions Open 2026: Courses, Eligibility & Fees
Delhi Technological University (DTU), New Delhi, was established in 1941 as Delhi Polytechnic and later upgraded to a full-fledged university in 2009. It is a state public university recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and approved by the AICTE. DTU is one of India’s premier engineering institutions, offering undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs in Engineering, Management, Design, Applied Sciences, and Humanities. Admissions are conducted through JEE Main (for B.Tech), GATE (for M.Tech), CAT/MAT (for MBA), and CUET PG (for other PG programs). Eligibility requires 10+2 with PCM for UG programs, graduation in relevant fields for PG programs, and a master’s degree for doctoral studies. Fee structures are affordable compared to private universities, with B.Tech programs costing around ₹2–2.5 lakh for the entire course and MBA programs between ₹1.5–2 lakh annually, making DTU highly accessible to meritorious students.
