Admissions Open 2026: Courses, Eligibility & Fees

Dr. YSRHU was established in 2007 by the Government of Andhra Pradesh to promote horticultural sciences. It is recognized by the UGC and affiliated with the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR). The university offers B.Sc (Hons.) Horticulture, M.Sc (Horticulture), and Ph.D. programs. Admissions are conducted through AP EAPCET (for UG), ICAR AIEEA (for PG), and university-level entrance exams (for Ph.D.). Eligibility requires 10+2 with PCB/PCM for UG programs, graduation in horticulture/agriculture with 50% marks for PG, and postgraduation with 55% marks for Ph.D.. Fees are affordable, with B.Sc (Hons.) costing around ₹1–1.5 lakhs for the full course, and M.Sc programs around ₹80,000–1 lakh.
