The Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences (ILBS), New Delhi, established in 2009 by the Government of Delhi, is a deemed university and autonomous super-specialty hospital dedicated to advanced medical education, research, and patient care in hepatology, gastroenterology, and allied sciences. It is recognized by the UGC, MCI, and NABH, making it one of India’s premier centers for liver and biliary studies. ILBS offers specialized programs such as DM, M.Ch., Ph.D., M.Sc., PG Diploma, and certificate courses in hepatology, transplant surgery, and biomedical sciences. Admissions are conducted through national-level entrance exams (NEET-SS, INI-CET, and institutional tests), followed by interviews and counseling. Eligibility varies by program, with postgraduate courses requiring MBBS/MD/MS degrees and research programs demanding relevant qualifications.
