The Jayoti Vidyapeeth Women’s University (JVWU), Jaipur, founded in 2008, is India’s first private women’s university, established through legislation by the Government of Rajasthan. Recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC), JVWU is also approved by statutory councils including AICTE, PCI, NCTE, INC, and BCI, ensuring its programs meet national standards.
JVWU offers a wide spectrum of undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, and doctoral programs in fields such as Engineering & Technology, Management, Pharmacy, Law, Education, Science, Arts, Commerce, Journalism, and Health Sciences. Admissions are conducted through merit and national entrance exams (JEE, NEET, CLAT, CAT, etc., depending on the program).
The JVWU campus, located on NH-8, Jaipur–Ajmer Expressway, is spread across 30 acres and provides modern classrooms, laboratories, computer centers, a digital library, seminar halls, hostels, and sports facilities. Jayoti Vidyapeeth Women’s University (JVWU), Jaipur, was established in 2008 by the Government of Rajasthan and is recognized as the first private women’s university in India. It is approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC), AICTE, NCTE, and other statutory bodies. JVWU offers programs in Engineering, Medicine, Pharmacy, Law, Management, Education, Arts, Science, Commerce, and Social Work at undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral levels. Admissions are conducted through CUET UG/PG, NEET (for medical programs), JEE Main (for engineering), CLAT (for law), CAT/MAT (for management), and university-level entrance exams depending on the program. Eligibility requires 10+2 with relevant subjects for UG courses and graduation in relevant disciplines for PG programs. JVWU provides financial support through government scholarships (SC/ST/OBC, minority, EWS) and institutional merit-based concessions. Fee waivers are extended to economically weaker sections, while merit scholarships are awarded to top-performing students in CUET, NEET, JEE, CLAT, CAT, and board exams. Special scholarships are also available for sports achievers, rural students, and differently-abled learners. On average, 30–35% of students benefit from scholarships or financial assistance annually, ensuring inclusivity and accessibility for women from diverse backgrounds.

The highest package offered has been in the range of ₹10–12 LPA, while the average package stands at ₹3–5 LPA, reflecting consistent placement opportunities.
