The Vignan’s Foundation for Science, Technology & Research (VFSTR), Guntur, was established in 2008 as a deemed-to-be university under the UGC Act. It is approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC), AICTE, and accredited by NAAC with ‘A’ grade. VFSTR offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs in disciplines such as Engineering, Management, Pharmacy, Agriculture, and Sciences. Admissions are conducted through V-SAT (Vignan Scholastic Aptitude Test), JEE Main, EAMCET, GATE, CAT, and university-level entrance exams, depending on the program. Eligibility requires 10+2 with PCM for engineering programs, graduation in relevant fields for PG programs, and a master’s degree for doctoral studies. Fees are affordable compared to other private universities, with B.Tech programs costing around ₹1–1.5 lakh per year and MBA/M.Tech programs between ₹1.5–2.5 lakh per year, making quality education accessible to students across Andhra Pradesh.
